Accessibility
Last updated October 1, 2026
This statement explains, in plain language, how the site was made accessible, what known limitations exist, and how you can reach us about accessibility.
Our commitment
Check Ta'av is committed to an accessible experience for every visitor, including people with disabilities. The site was built to the international accessibility standard, and work to improve it continues.
Standards and law
The site conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, in accordance with the Equality of Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments to Services), 5779-2019.
What we did to make the site accessible
The site is built with semantic, well-structured HTML. Text contrast meets the standard's requirements. Everything the site does (plate lookup, language switch, navigation) can be done by keyboard alone. Results and messages are announced to screen readers. The site fully supports right-to-left writing. When your system has "reduce motion" enabled, the site's animations are disabled.
How to use the site
The site works in current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari), on desktop and mobile, with no plugins or extensions required. The plate lookup runs entirely in your browser.
How the site was tested
The site was audited against WCAG 2.1 Level AA, verified with keyboard-only navigation, and passes automated checks. Full verification with screen readers is an ongoing process — if you run into a barrier, please let us know.
Known limitations
The 3D card on the home page is illustrative and carries no information. It can be rotated with a mouse or touch, but it has no keyboard control; since it carries no information, this does not affect using the service.
Third-party content
The site contains no third-party content — no ads, embeds, or user-generated content.
An online-only service
The service is provided entirely online; there are no physical branches or offices.
